Workspace settings

Your workspace's identity and core configuration. Name, URL slug, branding, business hours, public booking domain, and per-tenant rate limits. Owner+admin access.

Quick answers
Can I change my workspace slug?
Yes, but only owners can. Your slug appears in the public booking-page URL (/book/<slug>) and in some external links, so changing it breaks any existing share links. Make the change once, then update wherever you've shared the URL.
How does branding apply?
Your logo, accent color, and brand name show up everywhere recipients see your sends: email shells, the booking page, appointment confirmations, the unsubscribe footer. Workspace-level setting — every member's sends use the same branding.
Is a mailing address required in InforceDesk?
No. InforceDesk allows marketing sends without a saved address; when you save one, it appears under the unsubscribe link in your marketing emails.
What's "public domain" for?
If you embed lead-capture forms on your own marketing site, set that site's domain here. The system uses it to route incoming form submissions to your workspace without needing an API key. Comma-separate multiple domains. The CORS allowlist also picks them up automatically.
I want to delete my workspace.
Scroll to the Danger Zone (owners only). Type the workspace name to confirm. Soft-delete kicks in for 30 days — anyone in the workspace loses access immediately, but you can restore from My profile within the window. After 30 days, the cascade permanently removes every lead, client, document, and audit row.

Branding

Three fields: brand name (up to 120 chars), your logo, and an accent color (hex like #1768E5). Upload a logo image directly — click Upload image, pick a PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, or SVG up to 5 MB, and it saves right away (no separate Save needed). Use Replace image to swap it or Remove to clear it and fall back to the InforceDesk wordmark. A wide or square logo on a transparent background works best. The live preview on the right side of the page shows the workspace email shell with your current settings — handy for picking an accent that looks right.

Mailing address

The Branding card also has an optional mailing address box. Enter the street address your agency can receive mail at, between 10 and 300 characters, on one line or several. It appears at the bottom of every marketing email after the unsubscribe link, next to your brand name. Leaving it blank does not block blasts, workflow emails or birthday emails. Changing it is recorded in the audit log.

Business hours and timezone

Two settings used by booking-page slot generation. Timezone is your office zone: it's the timezone your business hours and appointment slots are anchored to, and every calendar event is created at the correct instant for it. Pick it from the dropdown — it defaults to your browser's zone when you sign up, and choosing Auto re-adopts whatever zone the browser you're on reports. Because a prospect books in your office zone, an appointment made for 1:00 PM in an Eastern workspace shows up as 11:00 AM on the calendar of an agent sitting in Mountain time — that's the same instant, just displayed in each person's own zone. Business hours (start, end, weekdays) control which slots the booking page offers prospects. These can be overridden on the Appointments page's Settings popup if you want booking hours different from operating hours. Appointment times shown inside the CRM are converted to your current local timezone automatically.

Rate limits

Two knobs: email_rate_limit_per_min (default 60) and sms_rate_limit_per_min (default 30). These cap how quickly outbound sends drain — useful when you're on a high-tier provider account and want to raise the limits, or to avoid hammering recipients during a blast. Maximum 10,000 per minute. Leave blank to use the default.

Export your data

Owner-only. Settings → Export downloads a zip of the whole workspace: one CSV per table (leads, clients, policies, tasks, follow-ups, appointments, email and SMS logs, workflows, custom fields, the audit log, and the rest) plus a manifest with row counts and the export time. Uploaded documents and email attachments come along as files in a subfolder, and their CSV rows point at each file. Integration credentials, sessions, API keys, pending invites, and connected social accounts are left out on purpose.

You can run one export per workspace every 10 minutes. Hit the limit and you get a "try again in N seconds" response instead of a partial file. Each run writes an export entry to the audit log before the download starts, so you can always see who pulled a copy and when.

If the workspace has been soft-deleted, the owner can still download the same zip from My profile during the 30-day grace window. After that the data is gone for good.

Danger zone

Owner-only. Soft-delete the workspace with a typed-name confirmation. The delete is reversible for 30 days from My profile; past that window it's permanent. Every dependent row (leads, clients, documents, audit log, etc.) cascade-deletes with the workspace.
