We update InforceDesk continuously. This is the running log of features, improvements, and fixes —
written for the agents who live in the product, not the engineers who build it. Times below are shown
in your local timezone.
Update
Smoother Google Calendar connections
Connecting your Google Calendar is now a single step — your events show up on the Calendar page the moment you connect. We'll also let you know right away if a connection ever drops.
Your calendar appears on the Calendar page the moment you connect, with no extra Save step
Connect without being added as a test user, and no more "unverified app" warning from Google
Get an email and an in-app banner if your Google Calendar disconnects and needs reconnecting
Clear guidance if you skip a permission while connecting, so you can grant access and try again
Update
Workflow templates for every insurance type
There's a new template library on the Workflows page with a ready-made email nurture sequence for every insurance type. Add any of them to your workflows in one click — each arrives as a draft you can edit before you turn it on.
Browse templates from the Workflows page — a ready-made nurture sequence for every insurance type
Add any template in one click; it arrives as an inactive draft, so nothing sends until you review and turn it on
Sequences stop automatically the moment a lead replies, so no one keeps getting emails after they answer
Templates send under your own logo, brand name, and sending address
Added Car Insurance, Homeowners, and Commercial Liability to the default insurance types
Update
Stay signed in for up to 7 days
No more getting signed out after a short break - your session now stays active for up to 7 days of inactivity, so you can pick up right where you left off.
Sessions now last up to 7 days of inactivity instead of 30 minutes
Activity in any tab keeps your session fresh across all tabs
Signing out still ends your session immediately
Update
Meet the Help Assistant — instant answers inside the CRM
Ask a question from any screen and get an answer drawn straight from the InforceDesk help docs. Look for the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner.
Answers stream in live and come straight from the InforceDesk help guides
Knows which screen you're on, so "how does this page work" just works
Available from the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of every CRM screen
Conversations are reviewed to improve the docs and deleted after 90 days
Updated the privacy policy to cover how assistant questions are handled
Update
Manual appointments now use your booking page's types
When you schedule an appointment by hand, the appointment-type list now matches the types you set up for your booking page. Customize them once and the manual scheduler stays in sync.
Appointments you create manually now show the same types as your public booking page
Change your types under Settings → Booking and the manual scheduler updates automatically
Calendar event length follows each type's configured duration
Update
Send email attachments from anywhere in your CRM
Every email composer now lets you attach files — upload from your computer or pick a document already on a client's or lead's record. Plus a couple of polish fixes to lead sources and the new-record popups.
Attach files to any email — from a lead, a client, a blast, an appointment update, or the standalone composer
On a lead or client, attach a document already on file (like a policy PDF) without re-uploading it
Sent attachments stay on the lead or client's email history, ready to re-download
Up to 5 files per email, 10MB each
Fixed an issue where every lead showed a generic "website" source
New lead and new client popups no longer close when you click outside — use the X, so you won't lose what you typed
Update
Calendar connections now flag when they need to be reconnected
When your Google Calendar connection goes stale — usually after a password change, a Google permissions revoke, or a permission update — you'll see a red "Needs reconnect" banner on Calendar settings with a one-click button to fix it. While in that state, new bookings stop routing to you so you don't get double-booked.
Calendar settings shows "Needs reconnect" with a one-click button when your Google connection has expired
Admins see the same status on the team calendars table so they can tell stale grants apart from intentionally-disabled members
Bookings stop routing to a disconnected agent automatically, preventing accidental double-bookings
Reconnecting requests one additional Google permission needed for availability checks — your existing calendar picker selections survive the reconnect
New FAQ entry on the Calendar settings help page explains what triggers the state and how to fix it
Update
Built-in help docs, plus customize your insurance types
Every CRM page now has a contextual help article behind a new Help button — open the article that matches the screen you're on, or browse the full library at /help. Insurance types are also editable per workspace from Settings.
New Help button in the CRM header opens contextual docs for the page you're on, in a new tab
Full help library at /help — searchable, grouped by Workspace, Productivity, Engagement, Business, and Settings
Edit insurance types per workspace from Settings — admin and owner only
Heart Attack Plan and Stroke Plan combined into a single Heart and Stroke Plan, with existing leads and clients updated automatically
Changes apply across the leads list, clients list, pipeline, follow-ups, subscribers, and detail pages
Reset to defaults at any time without touching existing records
Update
More control over your appointment booking page
Two new settings let you cap how far ahead leads can book and add a buffer around busy time on your calendar. On Team workspaces the buffer applies per agent, so one agent's blocked time never hides another agent's free slot.
Set a maximum advance window so leads can't book months out
Add a buffer before and after every busy event to keep back-to-back meetings from stacking up
On Team workspaces, the buffer is per agent — another free agent's slots stay bookable
Settings save instantly, no waiting for caches to clear
Same protections apply to both your branded booking page and the original appointment widget
Update
Your own Calendly-style booking page, with custom questions
Each workspace now has a public booking page at /book/<your-slug> where prospects pick a time, answer your questions, and land in your CRM. Choose a single-page form or a multi-step wizard, and decide whether each booking auto-creates a lead.
Public booking page with your logo and accent color — share the link in emails, on your site, or in social bios
Build your own form questions — short text, long text, dropdown, multiple choice, and a configurable list of appointment types
Pick the layout that fits your funnel — a single page for fast bookings, or a multi-step wizard for higher-commitment flows
Toggle off auto-create-lead for internal calls and demos that shouldn't land in your pipeline
Bookings still route through your existing calendar setup, fire your workflows, and send confirmation emails
Update
A "Give feedback" button on every page — and a small subscribers polish
Send a bug report, feature request, or note to us in two clicks from the new "Give feedback" button in the top-right of every CRM page. We also tightened the audience selector on the Subscribers page so the choices line up cleanly.
New "Give feedback" button in the top-right of every CRM page — open the popup, pick a type, write a note, send
Categorize as a bug report, feature request, question, or other
Tightened spacing on the audience choices in the Send Blast Email and Send Blast SMS sections of the Subscribers page
Update
Carrier commission presets, annuity trails, and auto-chargebacks
Pick a preset like Medigap, Heaped Life, or Annuity Front+Trail and the commission form fills in the right defaults. Renewals, trails, stepped LTC schedules, and producer splits all flow into your calendar and KPI totals. Lapsed policies record their chargeback automatically.
Carrier presets fill the commission form for Medigap, Heaped Life, Annuity Front+Trail, and 10 other structures
Track first-year, year-2 split, ongoing renewals, and stepped LTC tiers on a single product
New annuity mode handles upfront percent plus annual trail on the contract account value
Lapsed or cancelled policies record their carrier chargeback automatically based on your clawback schedule
Bonus and chargeback entries get their own calendar colors and net correctly into YTD earnings
Producer split percent applies to every payment so the calendar shows your share, not the gross
Update
Clarified security and terms language around healthcare data
We've sharpened the language on our Security page and Terms of Service to make our position on protected health information unambiguous. Nothing about how InforceDesk works has changed — only how we describe it.
Removed transitional language from the Security page's PHI section
Tightened the Acceptable Use clause in our Terms of Service to match
Reaffirmed which records fit InforceDesk and which don't
Update
Two-factor authentication, sign-in alerts, and a public security page
Turn on two-factor authentication from your account page, get an email when your account signs in from an unrecognized device, and point auditors at /security for what we do behind the scenes.
Two-factor authentication is now available on every account from My Account → Authentication
Email alerts when your account signs in from an unrecognized device or location
Email change requests now notify your old address with a "this wasn't me" link
Audit log can be exported as CSV for record-keeping
New public security page at /security summarizes how we protect your data
Update
Refreshed homepage and a live Founding-member counter
InforceDesk.com has a new homepage that tells your prospects what the CRM actually does — and the Founding-member ribbon now shows real, live seat counts from the signup pipeline.
Redesigned homepage with a policy-document hero, real product previews, and clearer pricing
Founding-member ribbon now reflects live seat counts instead of a placeholder
Slimmer feature claims so the page only advertises what's already shipping today
Update
Assign leads to teammates and see your whole week in one Calendar
Team plans can now assign leads and clients to specific agents. Everyone gets a new Calendar page that pulls Google events, appointments, tasks, and follow-ups into one view.
Assign leads and clients to a specific teammate, filter by assignee, and see "Assigned to me" on the dashboard (Team plans)
Bookings for a client land on their assigned agent's calendar when that agent is free
New Calendar page combines Google events, upcoming appointments, open tasks, and follow-ups in one month or list view
Optional sharing toggles let teammates see each other's calendars as full titles or opaque "Busy" blocks
Update
Release notes are live
You can now see every InforceDesk update on a public release-notes page, and a small heads-up appears the next time you sign in whenever something new ships.
Added a public release-notes page at /changelog
Added a sign-in heads-up that disappears once you read it or close it
Times shown on the page are converted to your local timezone automatically
