Members & invites

Who has access to your workspace and at what role. Invite new members, promote or demote, remove. Three roles: owner, admin, member. Owner+admin see this page; some actions are owner-only.

Quick answers
What can each role do?
Owner — everything, including billing, ownership transfer, workspace delete. Admin — everything except billing, owner-changes, and delete. Can invite and remove members but not other admins. Member — works in the CRM, no settings access.
I invited someone, they never got the email.
Two things to check. First — your Resend integration must be configured (Settings → Integrations) or invites send from the platform default sender, which sometimes lands in spam. Second — invites expire after 7 days; if the email is sitting in their spam past that, resend it. Use the Resend link next to the pending invite.
Why is the invite form disabled?
Your plan's seats are all in use. Solo and trial workspaces include one seat, and the owner is sitting in it, so there is no room to invite anyone. Pending invitations count too, so revoking one frees a seat. Team has unlimited seats; the owner can upgrade from Settings → Billing. Nobody gets removed when a workspace is over its cap, you just can't add more.
Can I have more than one owner?
No. Exactly one owner per workspace. Use the "Transfer ownership" form on My profile to move ownership to someone else; you become an admin in the process.
How do I leave a workspace?
Use the "Leave workspace" action on your own row. Owners can't leave — transfer ownership first. Leaving immediately revokes your access; you can be re-invited later if you change your mind.

Inviting members

Fill in the email, pick a role, click Send. The invitee gets a one-time link valid for 7 days. They land on a set-password page if they're new to InforceDesk, or get added straight to the workspace if they already have an account. Pending invites show in the table below the form with Revoke and Resend actions.

Seats

The page header shows Seats: used / cap. Members and pending invitations both count, so a seat stays reserved until the invite is accepted, revoked, or expires after 7 days. Solo and trial workspaces include one seat. Team has no cap and shows ∞.

At the cap the invite form greys out and a note with an upgrade link appears above it. Workspaces that were already over the cap keep every member; they only can't invite new ones until someone leaves or the plan changes.

Changing roles

Owner-only. Use the role dropdown on any member's row to promote or demote. You can't change your own role here — owners stay owner until they transfer ownership.

Removing members

Owners can remove anyone but themselves. Admins can remove members but not other admins or the owner. Non-owners can remove themselves (same as "Leave workspace"). Removal is immediate: the next request from that person hits a 403 or bounces them to the workspace switcher.

Last-active

Each row shows roughly when the member last had an active session. Useful for spotting accounts that haven't been used in a while — candidates for removal during a quarterly access review.
